There are only 64 teams left in this Coupe de France version 2024-2025, with the entry into the running of 18 new clubs, those of Ligue 1, the elite of French football.
From the 32nd finals, two Ligue 1 shocks are on the program, with RC Lens welcoming PSG and OM traveling to AS Saint-Étienne.
In the West, Stade Rennais finds the Girondins de Bordeaux (N2), FC Nantes was spared with Drancy (N3), Brest moves to La Roche-sur-Yon and Angers goes to Bobigny (N3). Guingamp and Caen find themselves in a Ligue 2 duel, Lorient travels to Tours (R1) and Stade Lavallois goes to Mérignac (R1).
The matches will be held on December 20, 21 and 22.

The 8th round ended yesterday, with Bordeaux qualifying against Les Herbiers. Beyond Saint-Philbert (N3) which defeated a Ligue 2 (Pau), there was not a huge surprise in the matches.
