This Thursday, November 28, the body of a young woman was discovered at the La Lavande hotel in Carpentras (Vaucluse). An autopsy determined that it was a young 18-year-old from Nîmes who had been missing for several days.
Interpellation
The young woman, named Wassila, whose parents are divorced, and who lives with her mother, was supposed to go, according to our information, to her father for the weekend, on November 22. Not seeing her arrive, the father then warned the mother, who reported her disappearance.
An investigation was opened by the Carpentras public prosecutor's office to determine the circumstances of the death. An individual was arrested on site, initially suspected of attempted murder. According to our information, the autopsy revealed that the death was of infectious origin. The young woman was reportedly the victim of an intestinal obstruction.
Given the circumstances of the disappearance, the family wishes additional investigations.
