A 43-year-old man has been indicted for extremely serious crimes: he is accused of raping his daughter, aged only four, and of allowing another individual to commit similar acts.
This case was brought to light during an operation to combat child pornography, said the Angers prosecutor, Éric Bouillard.
According to initial investigations, the father filmed the abuse live, allowing an Internet user to watch it via webcam. The investigation also indicates that he would have invited this man to go to Maine-et-Loire to in turn commit acts on the child as reported by JMM.
The main suspect was placed in pre-trial detention after his indictment for rape and complicity to rape. As for the second individual, aged 60, he is being prosecuted for rape of a minor, complicity in the rape of a minor, and distribution of child pornography files.
The authorities are continuing their investigations to establish whether other victims or accomplices could be involved.
This drama highlights the violence of child pornography networks and the urgency of their dismantling.
