Thirteen interventions in 2023
This unit, made up of four volunteer firefighters, carried out 13 interventions during 2023, mainly emergency assistance to people. Strategically positioned on departmental road 27, between Rorbach-lès-Dieuze and Langatte, it ensures vital proximity for the inhabitants of Belles-Forêts and surrounding communities. The operations are taking place in close collaboration with the Maizières-lès-Vic and Dieuze emergency centers.
Jean-Philippe Dupont, 32, residing in Cutting, has been a volunteer firefighter since 2019. Initially assigned to the Dieuze rescue center, he was promoted to the rank of corporal in 2022. In addition to his new duties, he chairs the association of the Dieuze firefighters and leads the young firefighters section as well as the security cadets.
