There is immense concern in Italy, this Sunday, December 1, 2024, as the young Italian player from Fiorentina, Edoardo Bove collapsed in the middle of a match against Inter Milan, leading to the interruption of this match on the 14th day of Serie A.
The 22-year-old midfielder suddenly collapsed after 16 minutes of play, appearing to be in convulsionscausing astonishment throughout the stadium.
The player, on loan from Roma to Fiorentina, was evacuated and all the players and officials returned to the locker room. The two teams were then tied 0-0. The meeting is definitively stopped.
“He is breathing normally”
Edoardo Bove was treated by emergency services and transported to Careggi hospital in Florence. Little news on the midfielder's health, however Sky Sport claims that the young man “breathes normally”. He also reportedly regained consciousness.
