Who blames the Thèze rugby club? During the night from Saturday to Sunday, at 11 p.m., a car deliberately drove into the entrance to the building at the rugby stadium, causing a fire in this 120 m2 building. The firefighters managed to put out the fire but a large part of the building is destroyed. The firefighters also specify that the car used to start the fire was stolen during the night.
A fire which occurs in a very particular context in Thèze with an increase in acts of vandalism targeting the rugby club of the commune, the Avant Garde de Thèze. This week, the Thèze club was robbed. Before that, two weeks ago, electric cables were cut at the stadiumwithout lighting, the scheduled match, the derby against the Nord-Béarn club had to be postponed, and should normally have been played this Sunday afternoon, before the events of the night postponed it again. This makes three acts of vandalism and malicious intent in just two weeks.
