Festivities interrupted. A bird-shaped float parading during a Christmas parade collapsed in the streets of Trouville this Saturday evening, causing several injuries, indicates Ouest-France.
The accident occurred around 7 p.m., while the “Celestial Fantasia” parade was passing through the center of the Calvados town. A metal structure, shaped like a bird, collapsed on the public gathered along the street.
Due to the incident, the show, which included dancers, stilt walkers and acrobats, was stopped, indicates Ouest-France. According to the newspaper, fourteen people were injured, including one seriously, but his life was not in danger.
