The NGO World Central Kitchen announces that it is suspending its operations in Gaza after a deadly Israeli strike. The vehicle was transporting supplies along the Salah al-Din road to Khan Younes. At least three workers from this international NGO were killed by the Israeli army.

Two strikes by the Israeli army, in quick succession. A first which kills three humanitarian workers, in a vehicle which was transporting rice and other foodstuffs. A second which kills two Gazans who came to help them. All are killed instantly.

Palestinian activist wanted, Israel says
Israel justifies this strike by saying that the targeted vehicle was transporting a wanted Palestinian activist. World Central Kitchen says it has no knowledge of anyone in the car with ties to Hamas.
This is certainly not the first time that the NGO has been targeted. Already last April, a convoy of three vehicles from World Central Kitchen was directly bombed, seven humanitarian workers were killed.
