“Rescue operation underway in Dnipro district after missile strike […] Right now we are aware of four people killed by this Russian strike,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram.
According to him, this strike “damaged a residential building and a store”.
The regional governor, Serguiï Lyssak, for his part reported that 21 people were injured, eight of whom were “in serious condition”.
“They suffer from penetrating injuries, internal organ damage and fractures,” he said on Telegram.
The city of Dnipro, which had 970,000 inhabitants before the war, was targeted on November 21 by a shot from the Russian experimental hypersonic missile “Orechnik”. This strike targeted a major military factory, PivdenMach, which notably manufactures components for missiles.
