Call for the release of hostages
The video, whose date of recording cannot be verified, shows a young man speaking in English to US President-elect Donald Trump, and in Hebrew to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The young man asks Israelis to put pressure on the government for his release and that of all the hostages still held captive in Gaza.
According to several Israeli media, including Times of Israël et Haaretz, This concerns Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander, 20, who says he has been detained for more than 420 days. If true, that would mean the video was made this week.
