The image is impressive. This cut, cut, “striated” body, as Murielle Beauvilain describes it herself. 62 kilos of pure muscle!

Almost two years ago, this mother impressed us with her story and her extraordinary willpower, as much as by her musculature. Since then, she has pushed her limits to go even further and sculpt her figure, particularly within theFalaisian sports agreement Body Forme.

I gained 15 kilos of mass in 14 months, before starting a workout to remove the film of fat and keep only the muscles.

Waba Universe Champion, “body” category

No miracle recipe, just determination: diet and intensive training. “I have eliminated almost all sugar, just 42 g of oat bran in the morning, and other meals based on asparagus, green beans, chicken or fish. I still have my small bowl, even when I go to eat with friends and it doesn’t frustrate me at all, because I know why I’m doing it.”

This adopted Norman wanted to see how far she could go, by moving into the highest category of bodybuilding: bodybuilding. “When I saw the other three girls backstage, they were Golgoths. I said to myself: they are untouchable.”

But she had other assets to shine. “It’s not all about having volume, the muscles need to be defined, prominent. And I think my level of leanness played a role. I was the least massive, but it’s important to have a upper and lower body harmony; judges want to see muscular and feminine women.”

Used to parading in a swimsuit and evening dress in her previous competitions, Murielle stood out.

I like to act flirtatious. Being sensual, glamorous, beautiful to look at… I do it naturally, even barefoot.

She finally won this WABA world competition, finishing ahead of another Frenchwoman, an Italian and a Ukrainian. A new, higher reward, after his three titles last year in another federation.

With such a physique, it’s impossible to go unnoticed, in the gym, but also in everyday life. “I can see that people stare at me in the summer, with lighter outfits, when I go shopping, but it’s more often out of curiosity.”

People’s comments on social media are perhaps harsher sometimes. “What is this species, this mix of man and woman… That’s what some haters say, but that doesn’t affect me, I don’t make my life according to the desires of others. Intelligent people have ‘admiration for my discipline and determination. They know the effort needed to get there.

At 52, Murielle has reached her supreme Grail with this world title. And she perfected her shell as she wanted, after losing her son in a dramatic evening accident. “He left me leaving his strength. Three days after his death, I was at the gym, and I threw myself into it. It was already in my temperament to challenge myself, but not as much, it “It was like an escape… This drama made me want revenge on death. It was either I fall now or I go into robot mode.”

It helped me survive the last three years… Otherwise, I would have had more darkness and sadness in me. Now, after this euphoria of the title, I will have to find another way to soothe myself, to maintain myself emotionally speaking.

No new goals for 2025. No doubt, his painter side will resurface after a year of hard training. “I’m going to go back to my paintings, with lots of creative and eccentric ideas.”
