“I heard two explosions. When I went to look out the window, I saw flames coming out of the car,” says this resident of the town of L'Écuyer, in Dinan, in Côtes-d'Armor. Around 9:45 a.m., this Saturday, November 30, 2024, an unlicensed vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of the Lucile pavilion overlooking the high school. Its owner had just returned from shopping. The accidental track is preferred.
Slight collateral damage
The car was completely destroyed and in the form of a wreck when six firefighters from Dinan arrived. The police also went to the scene. The fire damaged the shutters of apartments located directly opposite and a car parked nearby.
