The only FCLC player to have played in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France (in 2012 with Chantilly against Eden Hazard's Lille), Yves Owomat presents his troops to us before challenging Quevilly.
The goalkeepers of Liancourt-Clermont
• Benjamin Bar: The rock. He's become a friend over time with whom we talk a lot about the NBA and the game… We also sometimes have shootouts after training, but now he's starting to know me and stop me from doing it. A little…
• Clément Demollien: He is a very serious person and works a lot but he really likes shisha too much.
The defenders
• Léandre Pinto De Oliveira: He's crazy both on and off the field. He's a whole person, who doesn't do half things and in his game it's the same, he rushes headlong and does everything at 2,000 miles an hour.
• Antoine Wable: It arrived this summer and it's a nice surprise. He's a bon vivant, a pleasant person to be around and on the pitch he has a great left paw with which he makes a lot of good passes to me during matches.
• Moctar Sangaré: “I could“, he's the same as Antonio Rudiger. Since this weekend he has shocked everyone with his panenka. The worst part was that when we were in line during the session he kept telling us that he wanted to go last to qualify us and that he was laughing.
• Mamadou Niangane : That's my guy. He's the kid at the club, he works here, trains all the kids and when I saw what qualifying against Brétigny meant for him and the emotion it gave him, it made me cry. Otherwise, whether in his game or his development, he reminds me of my younger self.
• Idris Diaquite : Tam's son (technical manager of pre-training at FCLC). He's a fighter who doesn't give up. He always listens and plays to his strengths, without trying to invent a role for himself.
• Isaac Traoré: He has a mind of steel. He is coming back from a major injury (cruciate ligament rupture) and it feels like nothing can touch him anymore. Even when he is in reserve he doesn't give up; and to see him act as interim in the middle during a 7th round of the Coupe de France after what he experienced, it's powerful.
The environments
• Owen Reed: He's my everyday friend, we did the 400 strokes together in high school… He's one of the reasons with my brother (Jordy) and Dimitri (Malonda) why I came here. I wanted to enjoy football again, and to be able to experience an eighth round of the Coupe de France together, it's just wonderful.
• Nelson Djuwa: He is a Congolese like me, and I have known him since my time at ASBO. He was one of the young players in the reserve, but the coach (Thierry Bocquet) often called him to participate in training and I already found that he had enormous potential. Finally there is a real connection between us on the ground.
• Christ Koubemba: “Watch Christ“. He is an unpredictable and so strong player… He could play much higher, but the imperatives of life mean that he plays for fun… I remember an afternoon “five” that we had made together and where we stayed on the field from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. because we had not lost a single match.
• Redha Bourarach: He has made enormous progress and he is the balance of our team. It's simple when it's good we're going to be excellent and when it's less good we know we're going to suffer more.
• Amine Amari: Generosity in its purest form. He doesn't give up, doesn't calculate his efforts and is always on the right track. “minded” (mindset).
• Deniz Sameur: He has a very clean left paw. Corner, free kick, he can do everything but he hasn't shown it in a match yet. And I can tell you that the day he does it, he will shock people.
The attackers
• Nicolas Petigny : My darling. He's a little cutie, frail, the joy of life, always in a good mood, making jokes, a little idiot… Now it would be good if he put my assists in the back because since the start of the season he's been weighing down my stats…
• Tiago Da Costa: He is also one of the people I came here for. I love it when he's behind me. We like to reproduce on the pitch the combinations we see on TV. He's a magician who loves building little bridges. We know he's going to do it, but it still happens anyway. After facing me it's not worth it because I always close my legs.
• Rayan Bekhtaoui: Crack. He gives you crosses with a scarf shot, incredible dribbles, in short with him there are only highlights on the pitch. Now all he has to do is be consistent to earn his place in the eleven.
• Romain Abdallah: The party animal and the X-factor of the group. He is as unpredictable on and off the field. He's a real airhead who can miss an improbable trick and give you a long shot in the top corner or a double in the following actions.
• Alvin Vanzel: He's a good kid who takes all the advice and is disciplined. He constantly repeats his scales and always seeks to progress and improve.
• Léo Lavallée: He makes very good moves and there is nothing to teach him in front of goal. Now if he channels himself, spreads himself less and gains experience, he will be able to settle into the 9 position without worry.
