Heroines of yesterday and today – Lailly-en-Val (45740)

The (H) amac association presents Héroines, a documentary and object theater piece, this evening at the Lisotte. A show that pays tribute to these women.

Documentary theater and object show proposed by the (H) amac, Heroines is a play that addresses the life and work of women farmers, from the 20th century e century to the present day, having remained in the shadows for a very long time.

For three years, Anne-Cécile Richard and Antoine Malfettes, creators of the company On t'a vu sur la Pointe, worked alongside the residents of a retirement home near Redon, in .

“Bringing their word on stage”

“We met a lot of women farmers who told us their stories, their daily lives, and we wanted to bring their words to the stage,” she explains. Often, they worked alongside their husbands, without status or recognition. A situation once endured while today those who commit do so by choice. »

Created in 2017, Heroines therefore traces the story of four generations of a fictitious family of farmers, told by Anne-Cécile Richard. She paints the picture of a rapidly changing agricultural world in which the place of women changes little. With a strong message: women are legitimate, we must break the glass ceiling to make these professions accessible to women in the same way as men.

This piece will be followed tomorrow by a memory workshop at the Fontpertuis residence. Anne-Cécile Richard will make the public hear extracts from the texts that inspired the writing of the show, with testimonies from farmers and scenes taken from the show. This fun demonstration brings back memories, and allows for wonderful moments of exchange with residents.

Practical. Tonight at 8:30 p.m., La Lisotte room. All audiences from 12 years old. Free ticketing. Conference Sunday, at 11 a.m., Fontpertuis residence.
