A year after winning the European Wine and Gastronomy Grand Prix “Aurum of Supreme Excellence” awarded by the CEUCO, the Pacific and Sovereign Brotherhood of Tasto Mounjetos of Comminges once again traveled to Greece from November 7 to 12.
As a reminder, CEUCO is the European institution which was created to promote and protect tourism, agri-food and wine values. The European Congress of Wine and Gastronomy Brotherhoods (organized each year in a different European country) brought together 124 brotherhoods in Piraeus from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Belgium, etc.
For the second year in a row, the Tasto Mounjetos were honored with a new Aurum Prize for Excellence 2,024 in the European Hotel-Restaurant category. It was in fact awarded to the Lac de Boussens hotel-restaurant. Jean-Yves Bourdin and Flamino Armando, the owners of the establishment, were presented with this prestigious award by Olga Kefalogiani, Greek Minister of Tourism.
A great honor for these two knights of the Brotherhood of Tasto Mounjetos du Comminges sponsored on site by Roger Casimir Grand Master of the Brotherhood. “We are very honored by this European award which highlights our work. At the Hôtel du Lac, we are doing everything we can to promote a new art of living, between tradition and modernity, more respectful of the environment.
Nestled on the banks of the Garonne, the hotel-restaurant du Lac is located on an ancient Jacobean route called Via Garona.
This 170 km GR ® labeled walking path allows you to connect on foot through magnificent villages from the center of Toulouse to the village of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. By signing the charter of hosts of the Chemins de Compostelle network in France, we are committed to developing a quality welcome on the path” underlined Jean-Yves Bourdin and Flamino Armando.
