The investigation into the death of One Direction member Liam Payne takes a new turn.
More than a month after the death of Liam Payne, new revelations give another twist to the case. The former One Direction member died last October after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires.
Three people are already suspected in the investigation. Roger Nores, a friend of the singer, a hotel employee who allegedly supplied him with drugs, and an alleged drug trafficker.
Other suspects could be added, particularly among hotel employees, reports TMZ. Investigators are now interested in certain hotel employees after the publication of a new video in which we can see three people carrying the young man, inert, from the entrance hall to his suite.

The singer was then allegedly locked in his room before the incident. According to TMZ, Liam Payne tried to go out via the balcony to join the employees who remained in front of his door. “ When his body was found, he was carrying a bag over his shoulder and a cap which he did not have when he was last seen in the lobby », Reports the American media. Thus, the prosecutor’s office in Argentina reportedly seized the phones of certain employees of the CasaSur hotel.
It appears that Liam tried to move from the third floor balcony to the second floor, hoping to jump from a lower height. This theory is notably reinforced by the police report. Two days after his death, a hotel employee discovered on the balcony of the room below Liam’s a brown leather bag containing a note marked “for Liam”, as well as pills and a bottle of Jack Daniel’s.
Employees accused of negligence?
Esteban Grassi, the hotel receptionist, called emergency services minutes after taking the artist back to his room. “ We are afraid he will do something and be in danger. He is in a room with a balcony “, he notably declared during the call.
CasaSur staff members were visibly worried. The investigation will determine whether the hotel employees should be formally charged.
