Not all gamers have the funds necessary to acquire a recent graphics card from Nvidia, which has charged quite (too) high prices for its RTX 4000 series. But the brand has fortunately launched references equipped with the Ada Lovelace architecture at much more attractive prices, such as the RTX 4060 Ti, offered at less than 500 euros initially. But during this Black Friday, the price drops below 400 euros.

Play in Full HD without a hitch
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, much less expensive than the other models in the series, is a graphics card in which we find an Ada Lovelace AD106 chip with 4,352 Cuda cores, supported by 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. Yes, it’s a bit weak VRAM, especially associated with a 128-bit memory bus which will limit the bandwidth, and this is the main compromise that the brand had to make to reduce costs. At a time when games are increasingly demanding VRAM, this 8 GB may be difficult to accept, but rest assured, this quantity should be enough for the moment, especially for a card which mainly aims for Full HD definition.
The RTX 4060 Ti is indeed ideal for playing in Full HD. If you want to play with a higher definition, you will have to opt for a more high-end RTX 4070 or 4080. But in Full HD, the fluidity will be largely there, and this, with all the graphics options activated. During our test, Cyberpunk 2077 for example shot at 118 FPS with the graphics options at maximum, including the ray-tracing. And for the nervous title Forza Horizon 5the RTX 4060 Ti was able to output 138 frames per second. The graphics card is therefore fully capable of maintaining a high level of performance, despite limited VRAM.
Nvidia features are there
As indicated above, the RTX 4060 Ti is powered by an Ada Lovelace chip, which obviously provides compatibility with Nvidia features, such as DLSS 3, capable of generating complete images by AI, or even ray-tracing. The AI is fully there to increase the performance of each game.
Finally, one of the other major advantages of this RTX 4060 Ti is its ultra-controlled consumption. During our test, we noted a maximum consumption of 160 W, less than on the GeForce RTX 3060. This graphics card can therefore be widely installed in PCs with an economical power supply. With its RTX 4000, Nvidia has indeed succeeded in combining high performance and low consumption.
