Already on Thursday evening, the Villefranche gendarmes were no longer authorized to communicate on the disaster which struck the Indoor park and several commercial buildings, avenue de Lossburg in Anse, Monday November 25. And for good reason: an investigation has been opened “of the charge of damaging the property of others by dangerous means”specifies the Villefranche public prosecutor’s office.
“The forensic laboratory (SNPS) went to the scene the next day to take samplesexplains prosecutor Laetitia Francart. “The investigators are awaiting the various technical reports and are continuing to interview witnesses.”
5,400 m² gone up in smoke
Entrusted to the Anse gendarmerie brigade, “the highest qualification has been retained” for this investigation “unable to determine for the moment with certainty the origin of the fire and whether it was intentional or not”.
As a reminder, nearly 5,400 m² of buildings were destroyed by the flames. This includes the entire premises of Anse Foot and Trampoline (Indoor park) and Global Habitat Solution.
