The Bis route company created the show “The Scream of Silence” to tell the story of the daily lives of Israelis and Palestinians. This piece was created before the start of the conflict in 2023. It can be discovered this Saturday, November 30 at La Coquille.

“The Cry of Silence” is a documentary theater piece whose starting point is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the questions it raises on a daily basis. This show, from the Bis route company invented in 2023 even before the conflict exploded, combines theater and dance and sets out to meet people in Israel and Palestine. It will be performed this Saturday, November 30, at the Claude Boyer cultural space in La Coquille at 8:30 p.m. The piece is constructed like a travel diary based on the historical context, testimonies, press articles and the artists’ own experiences on site.

It’s about talking about the everyday, the livable, the unlivable. About what we find in the media and which reaches while retaining an external perception, foreign to what we see, what we hear, what we perceive while traveling. Directed by Marine Fillioud and Laure Joly and performed by Serena Moccafighe and Baya Noun, the artists tried as much as possible to represent in this restitution, reality based not on a political speech but on facts and the stories of the people they met.

“The cry of silence”, Saturday November 30 at 8:30 p.m. at the Claude Boyer cultural space. Price: 12 euros, reduced to 10 euros. Reservations on 06 59 42 69 98.
