A plane luxury connecting Luxembourg airport to Dublin (Ireland) was forced to do U-turnthis Friday, November 29, 2024, due to a technical incident.

In a press release, the airline Luxair informs: “This Friday, November 29, 2024, Luxair flight LG4883 from Luxembourg to Dublin encountered a technical incident during the flight. »
The aircraft (a De Havilland Q400 model from Luxair, registered LX-LGG) was able to land at Luxembourg airport “without any problem”, assures the airline.
Passenger safety was not jeopardized
Concerning the passengers of the plane, they were informed by the captain and the crew and their safety was not jeopardizedaccording to the airline. To bring passengers to Dublin, a new flight was organized by Luxair in the afternoon.
“Luxair is doing everything possible to avoid disruption, but the safety of its passengers and crew remains its top priority, and in some cases, unforeseen events may affect operations,” the airline concludes.
