Following gas leaks in the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium area, work took place, leading to several closures. This Friday, since 4 p.m., certain places have been able to reopen.

Reopening to the public for the Etivallière sports park et reopening for the “Geoffroy-Guichard” tram stop in Saint-Étienne.

Since 4 p.m., this Friday, November 29, several closures have ended in the ASSE stadium area after the gas leaks which paralyzed the area.

Chaudron staff were forced to evacuate twice on Wednesday and Thursday, causing the closure of the ticket office and the Greens museum.

Streets still closed

Concerning rue Paul and Pierre Guichardwhich had been closed to traffic by a municipal decree, it remains closed to car traffic (from rue de la Tour to boulevard Roger Rocher).

Rue de la Tour is also closed to traffic (from rue Paul and Pierre Guichard to the Khivilev roundabout).

As a reminder, a pipe had been pierced during drilling work.
