Two middle school students aged 14 and 15 were arrested this Friday, November 29, early in the morning. They are suspected of being behind the explosion which took place on Wednesday November 27 in the toilets of the Jean-Lurçat college.

That day, three students were slightly injured during recess time. “One or more college students would have thrown a bottle of acid into the toilet or sink, had then explained the public prosecutor of , Eric Bouillard, thus causing an explosion phenomenon. Two college students arrested

Two young people were arrested shortly after 7 a.m. this morning and placed in police custody. Aged 14 and 15, they would both attend school in the establishment and live in the Monplaisir district in Angers. According to initial information, they were not among the three injured. At this stage of the investigation, they remain presumed innocent.
