A violent explosion shook the town of Meauzac, in Tarn-et-Garonne, this Friday, November 29, 2024 around 11:30 a.m. The incident occurred in a residential house located shortly after the owner returned home, according to information from Dépêche du Midi.

The owner had just parked in his garage when the explosion blew out the entire house. The authorities favor the hypothesis of an explosion caused by an acetylene bottle stored in the home, even if this possibility remains to be confirmed.
