At what age is a smartphone appropriate?

Is there an appropriate age for the smartphone? Is it fair to ban it knowing that young people can then be marginalized by the majority who use it? These questions and others that parents of new generations ask themselves daily will be addressed. Monday December 2 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Naples Fashion Museum – Mondragone Foundation, in Piazzetta Mondragone n.18, during the formative and informative meeting entitled “Connected Generations”.

Scheduled as part of the youth focus section of the Fashion Museum’s events calendar and intended for educational figures with reference to theuse of social networks and the impact they can have on young people and minors, the meeting will be led by the professor Maria Rita ParsiItalian psychotherapist, educational psychologist and writer, currently member of the National Observatory for Childhood and Adolescence, former member of the United Nations Committee for the Rights of the Child, and introduced by the sociologist Melania d’Elia.

The event, which will end with a moment of listening by Dr. Parsi to possible questions posed by the public present, is expected to include the participation of the President of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca.
