While we were talking about the violence of relations in the political environment, the journalist recalled in “L’heure des pros”, this Friday morning on CNews, that he himself had been placed under judicial protection.
The death threat seems to have become a habit in France and elsewhere. It can be uttered against any person of public notoriety whose statement, behavior or position would go against certain people. And social networks are the most reliable relays. As recalled Pascal Praud this Friday morning in his show “L’heure des pros” on CNews.
It was of course a question of the altercation that occurred on Thursday in the hemicycle of the National Assembly, in the middle of the LFI niche, whose main object was the repeal of the pension reform. From amendments voted to amendments rejected, two deputies on the verge of a nervous breakdown almost came to blows. Insults, threats… Nicolas Turquois (MoDem) went up to the left to violently attack Mickaël Bouloux (Socialist Party), who pushed him away with his hand.

“We are fed up with this victimization”
And while the journalist mentioned the comments of Antoine Leaument, LFI deputy for Essonne, relating to the death threats received by some of his colleagues, he indicated that he himself, and for the same reasons, was placed under police protection a few months ago. “Let him calm down! Everyone receives death threats. I was under police protection last year for two months. And I’m not the only one! Let him calm down because what rebellious France is also doing is putting targets on one and the other”said the journalist.
And to add further: “We are fed up with this victimization. It turns out that today, those who have a public role – journalists, artists… – all receive death threats.
