Exasperated by all the reactions after the revelations about the suspension for doping of the five-time Grand Slam winner Iga Swiatek, on 4e World player, Taylor Fritz, has criticized some tennis fans for their lack of objectivity.

“What drives me CRAZY about these situations (on Twitter) is not the cases themselves. It's hard to know exactly what happened and all the details in all of these specific cases, so debating speculation isn't really my favorite. It's all well and good to have your own opinions, but what I can't understand and what is so disturbing as a player is the insane bias of the tennis public that supports any story that goes in the direction of what he wants. If it's a rival of the player you support who tests positive, then you're on the 'let's call him a doper/cheater as much as possible' team and if it's your favorite player who is affected, then he's innocent without question. How are you not able to eliminate your own personal bias and form an educated and honest opinion for yourself? »
