Update November 29, 10 a.m.: The perimeter is still cordoned off and the T3 tram stop is not served. The STAS invites you to refer to the Technopôle or Roger Rocher stations.

Updated at 5 p.m. : The city of Saint-Étienne has just issued a new municipal decree now prohibiting access to all sports fields in Etivallière. The “Geoffroy-Guichard” tram stop is also closed.

The Geoffroy-Guichard stadium area should currently be avoided. This Wednesday, a gas leak in a pipe led to the evacuation of employees from the area. Firefighters had already been there. But pockets of gas continue to be observed underground, explains the prefecture.

Consequence, a 2e Evacuation was ordered this Thursday, at midday. Traffic is therefore prohibited on rue de la Tour and rue Guichard while emergency services intervene. For its part, the city of Saint-Étienne has issued a municipal decree prohibiting access to the Henri Lux track and the bowling alley at the Etivallière sports park.
