The Telethon will have a particular flavor for Brittany this year. Quimper being an ambassador city, the France Télévisions cameras will settle there for part of the weekend of November 29 and 30, 2024.
From Friday November 29, between 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., we should see Quimper on France 3 for three… rather original challenges:
- a cbear of cafe waiters between Quimper and Firminy (Loire),
- and pancake tennis between Quimper and Avesnes-sur-Helpe (North),
- a strong challenge: tow a tractor 10 m between the 4 ambassador cities including Bonifacio
On its Facebook page, Force T runs the program:
A live from Place Saint-Corentin
A live broadcast on France 2 is planned for Saturday 30 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. from Place Saint Corentin. The two hosts chosen to host this section are Carole Gaessler et Raphal Yem. They will be accompanied by singer Hervé.
They should give of themselves! Carole Gaessler has in fact planned to abseil down the cathedral with the Grimpeurs de l'Odet. She should also taste a Maroilles pancakea little nod to Avesne-sur-Helpe, another ambassador town located near Maroilles.
The two hosts will also receive families affected by genetic diseases on set. As Stéphanie and her son Nathan. Arthur Pach, young man suffering from limb-girdle myopathyis also invited. He will demonstrate wheelchair football, a discipline in which he excels.
France Télévisions cameras will also film several challenges, notably the 12 hours of gavotte. Duplexes with other ambassador cities are planned, in particular with Firminy (Loire) which will try to break a world record.
On France 3, we should also see some images from Quimper on Saturday November 30 in the afternoon (the schedule has not yet been communicated).
