Sainte-Thérèse, Thursday November 28, 2024- The Thérèse-De Blainville Police Department is currently investigating a case of a fire of suspicious origin that occurred early in the night on November 28.
In fact, a call was made to the central office for a fire starting near a vehicle in the parking lot of a private residence. Police and firefighters were quickly dispatched to the scene. The fire was brought under control and a security perimeter was erected. No people were injured during this event.
“Investigators will meet with witnesses and a forensic identification technician specializing in fire scenes will attend the scene. He will carry out various analyzes in order to precisely determine the causes and circumstances of this fire. No arrests have been made so far, we are at the start of an investigation into this event,” explained Inspector Karine Desaulniers.
