The septuagenarian suspected of having stabbed to death her 66-year-old companion in an apartment located in Voiron (Isère), on Saturday November 23, was indicted for murder. She was placed in pre-trial detention this Wednesday.

According to information from Dauphiné Libéréconfirmed by the Grenoble prosecutor, the septuagenarian herself had raised the alarm with a neighbor, after having stabbed her partner several times.
This neighbor then contacted the police and emergency services, but they were unable to resuscitate the victim. When firefighters arrived on site, they found that the 66-year-old man was in cardio-respiratory arrest.
The septuagenarian was, shortly after, taken into custody by police officers from the local legal police service in Voiron. An altercation could be the cause of the tragedy.
