The Jahotière manor in Abbaretz (Loire-Atlantique) will transform into a bride’s paradise this Saturday November 30, 2024. Céline Guiheneuf, store manager Ceremony by Céin Châteaubriant, is organizing a wedding dress parade to present its collection.
Châteaubriant: she organizes a parade of wedding dresses
At the end of summer 2024, Céline Guiheneuf announced on her networks the change of store namethus becoming an independent seller.
Indeed, it was in 2019 that the professional launched into the world of weddings, alongside the Brides of Jade franchiseas a door-to-door saleswoman.
“Before, I worked in interior design. I then lost my husband and a few months later, my dad convinced me to go back to work. So I started selling wedding dresses,” confides the forty-year-old with emotion. A difficult ordeal for her, but with, above all, the desire to transmit a beautiful image of marriage, to have human contact. “It helped me a lot.”
Then in 2022, Castelbriantaise opens its store, still being a franchisee. “I had too many dresses at home. This small boutique made it possible to provide a store space and an intimate lounge for fittings,” explains Céline Guiheneuf.
End of July 2024full of ambitions, she leaves the franchise to put his own ideas into action. This is how the Cérémonie by Cé brand was born.
Dresses for all body types
An opening which requires an investment in a new collection, to stand out and which can meet the expectations of all its customers.
But to present this famous collection on her social networks and her website, the retailer decided to select her own models by organizing a casting.
When we look at magazines, we see models who don't look like us. We can sometimes feel self-conscious. I wanted all my clients to be able to identify.
Her “team” as she likes to call it, is then made up of 28 mannequins. Women who are short, tall, thin, round, disabled, sick, pregnant.
A casting that allowed him to develop his Curvy ranges. Thus, she suggests between 50 and 60 dress modelsranging from size 34 to 56.
A message of hope
Céline Guiheneuf takes the example of one of her clients who became a model for her store.
“Claire came to see me to find a dress for her wedding. Claire is a plump woman who has cancer and who has had her breast removed. Today she is the face of the Curvy range and bearer of a message of hope »says the saleswoman.
Céline's challenge: that all women, without exception, feel beautiful.
I am more of an advisor than a salesperson. The choice of clients must be made based on their liking and I must tell them what suits them or not. It’s a profession of passion.
Soon a parade at the Béré hall?
The store manager, very present on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram, is organizing a wedding dress parade this Saturday November 30, 2024in order to highlight its new collection, as well as its models.
“I also do it for them, so that they can realize their potential, their beauty,” she adds.
Several providers will be present during this evening, such as wedding planners and a videographer.
The Châteaubriant wine cellar will also offer a tastingin addition to catering bar chosen by Céline Guiheneuf.
“I aim high. I want to share something positive. A day maybe I would organize a big parade at the Béré Fair, maybe even in Paris”, ambitions the Castelbriantaise.
Céline Guiheneuf hopes to be able to repeat this event next year. The Cérémonie by Cé boutique also offers cocktail dresses, dresses for little girls and suits for little boys.
