The explosion of a house leaves one dead and one seriously injured near Provins

The tragedy occurred during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday around 4 a.m. in the small town of Saint-Loup-de-Naud, rue Serge-Veau. A house was blown away by an explosion. The origin of the explosion is not yet known, but the human toll is heavy. A 34-year-old woman was found dead in the rubble.

A man of the same age managed to escape, but he was seriously injured. Emergency services took him to the Georges-Pompidou hospital center in Paris. The mine clearance services intervened because gas cylinders were stored in the pavilion and they could have accentuated the effect of the explosion. An investigation is underway.
