President of the International Federation of Lebanese Businessmen (MIDEL) and Dean of the Faculty of Management of Saint Joseph University (USJ), Fouad Zmokhol won the “Academic Model for Youth Empowerment” award in Economics and Entrepreneurship” awarded by the International Union of Arab Banks (UBA). This award recognized Professor Zmokhol’s active role in training a promising young generation in the fields of economics and entrepreneurship and his contributions to the Lebanese, Arab, regional and international economic community.
On this occasion, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Banks (UBA), Wissam Fattouh, delivered a speech in which he called Mr. Zmokhol an outstanding leader of Lebanon, who combined science and strategic vision to form an important leadership model. He recalled that his academic role led to the employment of more than 96% of graduates and, under his leadership, his faculty achieved the highest international accreditation awarded to business schools.
Note that Mr. Zmokhol also chairs the Economic and Social Council of the Agence universitaire de la francophonie (AUF), for his second term, demonstrating his commitment to sustainable development and expanded academic partnerships.
