Suspected of having killed her mother, her daughter, aged 31, who was in the home when help arrived, was arrested and placed in police custody during the weekend before being brought before a magistrate of the Pontoise public prosecutor's office. Indictment for homicide on ascendantshe was placed in pre-trial detention at the women's remand center in Versailles (Yvelines).

Fire

It's for a fire that the firefighters had intervened in the building of the small residence overlooking the D86. The alert was given shortly before 7 a.m. “I was woken up by the sound of sirens. It was only afterwards that I smelled a slight smell of smoke,” confides Jacqueline.

The emergency services took her out of the smoke-filled apartment and noticed that his body is larded with stab wounds. Despite the first aid provided to the victim, his death was pronounced on the spot by the Smur doctor.

Known for a history of violence

Her daughter was also treated by emergency services and transported to the Pontoise hospital center. To investigators, the latter confided that she had not realized that there was a fire. For the moment, the reasons which pushed her to take action remain unknown, no information having been communicated on these statements during the hearing before the gendarmerie investigators then before the investigating judge . The Pontoise public prosecutor's office, however, specified that the thirty-year-old is known for a history of violence.

“Quite violent arguments, shouting”

Difficulties between the mother and her daughter had been identified, which was confirmed by several residents. “She didn't live there, but she often came to see her mother,” continues Jacqueline, who had witnessed violent incidents between the mother and her daughter in the past. “There were several of us residents who had already heard quite violent arguments and shouting. The police intervened on several occasions. »

If the young woman is described as “a woman who seemed normal”, “she said hello when I passed her”, she nevertheless entered into a crisis the day before the tragedy. “I wasn't there, but from what neighbors told me, she threw things out the window and screamed for several hours Thursday afternoon. » A scene which would have taken place until the middle of the night before stopping. In the early morning, his mother was found dead.
