The installation ceremony of the new Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT), Achraf Fayda, appointed during the last Government Council, was organized on Monday in Rabat, in the presence of the Minister of Tourism, the ‘Craftsmanship and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor.
During this ceremony, the responsible minister praised the skills and background of Mr. Fayda, recalling that his experience within multinationals will be a great asset for the continuation of the dynamics of the ONMT and its role in achieving the objectives of the tourism roadmap, and position Morocco in the Top 15 in the world, indicates a press release from the ONMT.
Mr. Fayda’s achievements in leading several large-scale projects and his knowledge and expertise in marketing and sales strategy, as well as in management, will enable him to successfully meet these challenges, continued Ms. Ammor.
For his part, Mr. Fayda wanted to salute the commitment of the ONMT teams, whose professionalism and dedication contribute to the influence of the Morocco destination.
Thus, he affirmed his determination to continue with ambition the work undertaken to consolidate Morocco’s place on the international tourism scene, based on a vision resolutely focused on excellence and innovation.
The installation ceremony took place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism, Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Mohammed Msellek, as well as directors and heads of departments of the ONMT.
