Achraf Fayda was officially installed on Monday, November 25 in Rabat, as Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT). The ceremony was held in the presence of Fatim-Zahra Ammor, Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, as well as several executives and officials from the Office.

Welcoming Mr. Fayda's career, the minister stressed that his experience within large multinationals represents a major asset in carrying out the ambitions of the ONMT. Among these objectives is Morocco's place in the Top 15 global tourist destinations, in line with the sector's strategic roadmap. Ms. Ammor also highlighted Mr. Fayda's skills in marketing strategy, commercial management and management, essential qualities to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving industry.

In his speech, Achraf Fayda expressed his gratitude to the minister for her trust and praised the professionalism of the ONMT teams. He reaffirmed his ambition to raise the Morocco destination to a level of excellence and innovation, while consolidating its achievements on the international scene.

The ceremony saw the participation of Mohammed Msellek, Secretary General of the ministry, as well as directors and heads of departments of the ONMT, witnesses of a symbolic handover for the national tourism sector.
