LThe firefighters were looking for the occupant of this detached house. And unfortunately, what they feared happened. They ended up finding around 9 p.m. Saturday November 23 this lady in her fifties who lived alone in this individual residence, impasse François-Ferrer, in Saint-Parres-aux-Tertres. She was located in a part of the house that had collapsed.

Beforehand, a fire had broken out. It was around 6:45 p.m. when the alert was given, according to Magali Chabrol, deputy mayor present on site. “When the firefighters arrived, the fire was quite large inside the house. The emergency services managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring homes”indicated the elected official.
Around 8:30 p.m., the fire was under control, but there was no news of the occupant of the premises. This is where the firefighters attacked the last homes and explored the house, before making the disastrous discovery.
