The game had started on a good basis but the spectacle finally fell through with the interruptions linked to the incidents at Furiani: it was of course with a parity score (0-0) that the SC Bastia and the F.C. Lorient separated this Saturday, November 23, as part of the 14th day of Ligue 2.

In a J14 poster, the Sporting Club de Bastia welcomed Lorient residents who were very motivated by the idea of being able to take first place at Paris FC, which has been slowing down for several weeks. The match was interrupted for several minutes before resuming, with the Bastiais numerically inferior. Entering the game, Tosin threatens Placide's cage without hitting on goal.

We then expect that in the second act, the Merlus will manage to slowly bring down a largely disadvantaged local team, especially knowing the quality of Olivier Pantaloni's men in the second halves. After shots off target from Avom Ebong (51st) and Laporte (56th), a shot from Ducrocq blocked (62nd), Mvuka gets the ball rolling (70th) but sees the Haitian goalkeeper of the Corsican club intervene on his powerful shot . But despite all its attempts, a rush from Tosin in the last moments and a new expulsion-sacrifice from Roncaglia, Lorient is unable to carry out its combinations and finds itself forced to give up two points in its race to climb, as did Paris, Metz or Annecy during this day. For its part, Bastia certainly obtained a good result in terms of the scenario but still did not win, for the ninth consecutive time in the championship.
