Grand Boum — City of Blois 2024
This prize recognizes an author each year for the quality of all of their work. The winner will design the poster for the next festival and an exhibition will be dedicated to him at the Maison de la BD. The Grand Boum is accompanied by a check for €3,000.
This year, it is Dominique Bertail who is saluted. Last year the winner was David Prudhomme.
Prix Jacques-Lob
This prize rewards an author, a screenwriter or designer, who has already published several albums. Jean-David Morvansucceeds Laurent Galandon and was the 2023 winner.

Central Region Prize – Loire Valley
This prize rewards a comic strip for its civic impact. In 2024, Rootsby Lou Lubie, at Delcourt is praised. Last year the winning title was Black pencil, Samuel Paty, story of a teacherValérie Igounet and Guy Le Besnerais, Studiofact ed.
ACBD Youth Prize 2024
Moon Bear's Journeyby Ho, translation Aurélien Babet (Editions Le Renef Dorée / Rue de Sèvres). This is also the first time that the ACBD has awarded a manga, for its Youth Prize. The prize will be awarded during the Montreuil Book and Youth Press Fair on Saturday, November 30.
Ligue de l’Enseignement 41 Prize for young audiences
This prize recognizes a quality comic book intended for 6-10 year olds published during the year. The jury is made up of the schools: Nelson Mandela and Marcel Bühler in Blois, Anatole France in Vendôme, Jean Pasquier in Vouzon, Avaray and Chambon-sur-Cisse.

Departmental Council Prize
This prize rewards a quality comic strip for 11-14 year olds. The jury is made up of students from the Joseph Paul-Boncour college in Saint Aignan sur Cher.
My little wolfCamille Garoche, at Delcourt is a winner this year, following The armed armsT1, The designatedEnrico Orlandi and Pog, at Dupuis, praised last year.
The New Republic Prize
This prize rewards an author from the region in which the daily newspaper is distributed. It is The red notesNadia Nakhlé, (Delcourt) who succeeds IndianaClaire Bouilhac (and Catel) after George Sand, ed. Dargaud.

Young Talent Prize —La Saif
A grant of €1,000 in creative support is awarded to a comic book author in the process of becoming professional. This year, the operation is sponsored by Jeanne Puchol, author and administrator of Saif. The winner will be exhibited at bd BOUM 42.
Last year the winning title was Mounta calàMathilde Peace. And for 2024, it's Romain Garnier, The lake of firewho succeeds him.
