Around twenty firefighters intervened late in the morning this Saturday, November 23, 2024 in the context of a traffic accident between two cars.
At the wheel of one of the cars, a 40-year-old woman who was taken in charge by the SMUR services (Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Structure) who declared his death. In the other car were two young people, both seriously injured.
The young man was evacuated to the Timone Marseille hospital center while the young woman was evacuated to the HIA (Army Instruction Hospital) Sainte-Anne in Toulon.
The husband of the deceased victim arrived on the scene and was taken care of by a fire brigade ambulance.
Following this accident, traffic was blocked in both directions. Strong disruptions are expected in this sector.
