Kate Middleton is currently in full preparations for the annual Christmas concert. For this important event, the Princess of Wales announced that she had invited the children who survived the knife attack in Southport last July.

This is a Christmas carol concert hosted by Kate Middleton in the presence of the Royal Family and inspiring British citizens. A 17-year-old teenager attacked a dance and yoga school with a knife. The attack left three dead and ten injured. As recalled by Daily Mail Kate Middleton had already met the families affected by this tragedy last October, just after resuming her commitments. She had gone with her husband, Prince William, to Southport to support them. “As parents, we cannot imagine what the families, friends and loved ones of those killed and injured in Southport are going through today.”she wrote in a statement published after the attack.

The Princess of Wales is actively preparing for this traditional ceremony. On November 19, she was absent from an official diplomatic banquet, having been seen a few hours before at Westminster Abbey for a meeting with her team. This celebration requires a lot of preparation. 1,600 people are expected in the royal residence on December 6 for “a moment of sharing and empathy”as specified in a press release from Kensington Palace. The family ceremony “will highlight individuals from across the Kingdom who have demonstrated love, kindness and empathy to other members of their communities.”
