To the violent raids which shook Saturday morning both the Basta sector and the southern suburbs of Beirut, were added, around midday, new warnings issued by the Arabic-speaking spokesperson for the Israeli army, Avichay Adraee, calling the residents of two buildings in Bourj el-Brajné and three others in Hadath to evacuate their homes.
Furthermore, Israeli attacks against several towns and villages in South Lebanon continued and clashes between Hezbollah fighters and the Israeli army intensified.
In Tyre, and according to a provisional report from the Ministry of Health, two people were killed and three others seriously injured in a strike which targeted fishermen on the coast. For its part, Hezbollah managed to repel Israeli soldiers who were trying to advance in Biyada, south of Tyre, causing several deaths and injuries in their ranks.
In Roumine (Nabatiyé), several deaths and injuries were reported following an Israeli strike on the area while Israeli artillery fire targeted Harouf (Nabatiyé), Bint Jbeil, Shaatiyé (Tyr) and Bazouriyé (Tyr) , where a house was completely destroyed.
In addition, the Saida-Nabatiyé road axis was blocked due to an Israeli raid on Zefta.
Even more, the artillery fire targeted a house in the town of Jdeidet Marjayoun without causing any casualties. Bombings also targeted several houses in the town of Ebel al-Saqi yesterday.
