Insatiable Gayolleux!
It is impossible to recall here the dozens of activities (fun, cultural, sporting) and outings (near, like at Bommels, even trips abroad: Amsterdam, Verdun, Reims, Cologne, Luxembourg… or Trier , which the coach never found). We will only mention a few: the Festival of a Hundred Beers – since 1982 – and his quest, of course, but also the vice-champion football team of Entente Terrienne, the rock concerts and others (including the memorable one of Sttellla, for ten years, in August 1989), the bike rallies , mini-football under a strange bubble in Ronse, table tennis, volleyball, Youth Festival, film club, IT, book library, evenings (games) video, processions, beach volleyball – or rugby, beer pong, pétanque, flea markets, various collaborations (carnival, crossage, Gayo-ballante, march of the fireflies, Sugar Rock, Les Fourmis dansent, Cicaday…), the Saint-Nicolas, run & bike, bike, motorbike or mob rides, aperitifs, barbecues and meals, “gambling” evenings… We go on and on, and some of the best!
A dinner show
La Gayolle is forty-five years old, and the dozens of boys and girls – some of whom have become grandparents, while remaining “young in spirit” – who attended it are invited to come and celebrate.
The meeting is set for this Saturday, November 30, from 6 p.m., at the Anvaing village house.
Everyone is welcome… On the program, for the modest sum of fifty euros: a dinner show with, on the menu, soup, Ardennes roast and of course ice cream for dessert, as well as unlimited drinks, but also many memories to remember, a lot of humor, my tenderness and good humor, as in each of the previous editions of these reunions of current and former nostalgic members of a youth center like no other, which is slowly moving towards its half-century of existence. “M’Anvaing!”, Gaston would have said.
