Three must-see villages and five hamlets
They are essential. And sought after. Dotting the city, these meeting points have, over the years, been able to forge a solid identity. The villages and other hamlets are celebrating at the end of 2024.
Place Charles-III, the Grand Village of Saint Nicolas will sparkle and play the locomotives with its culinary professions and its local and French crafts… Above all, the scent of churros, mulled wines, waffles and other hot chestnuts… Without forgetting the oysters but also the cheese specialties will awaken taste buds ready to attack the end of year feasts.
In front of the SNCF station, the Village du bois des trois petits enfants has gained momentum this year, with the installation of La Troika. This caterpillar from 1932 which came accompanied by its gourmet chalets and a caravan from the great era.
A lively spot like the Village de la Grande Roue and the ice rink, Place de la Carrière, attracting ever more people.
Just like the hamlets, anyway. Whether it is the Hameau gourmand, Porte Saint-Nicolas, Place des Vosges, Le Petit Hameau de Nico et Mouja, rue du Pont-Mouja, the very lively Hameau gourmand de Saint Nicolas, Place Vaudémont, the Hameau de la Craffe, Porte de la Craffe or even Le Hameau des bon vivants, Place Saint-Epvre, all now have their own DNA and bring the Saint-Nicolas festivities to life throughout Nancy for five weeks.
