She remains hopeful and promises that his bookstore will reopen. Simone Hisler, the manager of the eponymous bookstore which was the victim of a fire on the night of Saturday November 16 to Sunday November 17 in Metzright next to the cathedral, speaks on France Bleu Lorraine this Friday, November 22. A bookstore has been located in these historic premises for 140 years. It is therefore a Metz institution that was affected, sparking emotion and messages of support, particularly on social networks.
“We will find her”she assures. Moreover, she and her children are already thinking about a temporary solution. “One of my daughters, Juliette, had a brilliant idea. The Saint-Avold bus company would rent us a bus”she describes. The idea would be, if the town hall authorizes it, to install it “near John Paul II Square and that we can do a little sales and especially click and collect.” Because, recalls Simone Hisler, “the whole world can order from us, on the internet”.
In the meantime, for the faithful, the Hisler bookstore has still two branches open in Thionville : Feelings tome 5 et Feelings BD bis.
