This Thursday evening took place the first partners' match, organized by Nîmes Olympique and by the club's new recruit, Célia Aldon, responsible for relaunching the Nîmes Olympique partners' club. For the occasion, an opposition between two teams under the direction of Adil Hermach (coach of the first team) and Sébastien Larcier (sports director of the club) took place at the Stade des Antonins.
At the end of the meeting, partners, former partners and potential partners were able to meet the players who make up the Nîmes Olympique National squad and who were present in the stands during the meeting.
A moment of sharing and conviviality without forgetting the spirit of competition:
A few seconds before kick-off, Sébastien Larcier sets the tone “we have to win, guys”. If the atmosphere on the pitch is good-natured, the match allowed us to see some moments out of time, like when Adil Hermach (former Moroccan international) enters the pitch to give game instructions as close as possible to the action of the management team. Or when Seb Larcier brings out his super replacements by bringing in Alexandre Duclaux and Aurélien Boche (both physical trainer at the club). On Adil Hermach's side, it was Stjepan Cvitkovic, his deputy on the Nîmes bench who has 250 professional matches who came into play.
Two twenty-minute halves later, it was the red team coached by Seb Larcier who won 3 goals to 1 before returning to the partners' area.
A successful first event for Celia Aldon, who was congratulated by Sébastien Larcier for the organization of what should allow the club to reconnect with its partners.
