► Morning strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut

Strikes targeted Friday morning, November 22, the southern suburbs of Beirut, stronghold of Lebanese Hezbollah against which Israel is at war, shortly after a call from the Israeli army to evacuate, according to images from AFPTV.

In addition to the suburbs of Beirut, the Israeli army called overnight to evacuate several areas of southern Lebanon.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Thursday evening that 40 people had been killed by Israeli strikes on the Bekaa Valley, in the east of the country, after providing an initial death toll of 22.

“The strikes by the Israeli enemy which targeted the Baalbek region (left) 40 dead and 52 injured”indicated the Ministry of Health in a press release, reporting victims in 10 different locations.

He also said that twelve people had been killed by Israeli strikes on the south of the country, and that 50 others had been injured.
