The refectory is destroyed

An arson attack was started this Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Mahé de La Bourdonnais college in Saint-Denis. Rostane Mehdi, rector of the academic region, expresses his “deep emotion following the arson which destroyed the refectory this evening”. (Illustrative photo www.imazpress.com)

He condemns with “the greatest firmness this act perpetrated against a place of education and knowledge serving the students of Island, which must be respected and protected”.

Rostane Mehdi also expresses “his support for the entire educational community affected by this malicious act”. He will go to the establishment this Friday, November 22, 2024 at 8 a.m. to meet the members of the educational team.

Families are informed that the establishment will not be able to receive students until the end of the week.
