The firefighters intervened this Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 22 rue Le Nôtre, in the Malherbe district of Grenoble.

And fire broke out in an apartment from the 1st floor, around 10 a.m. The flames spread to neighboring homes.

Emergency services evacuated residents and took care of nine people. No injuries have been reported.

The fire brought under control

The nine people taken into care by firefighters were examined after having smoke inhalation.

According to information fromnews Grenoblethe fire was brought under control at 11:50 a.m. and emergency services entered the clearing phase.

The apartment where the fire started is completely destroyed.

A confined school

The school in the Malherbe district which is located in the same street as the burned apartment, welcoming 360 students, was confined during the operation.
