The Senators will host their third Throwback Thursday game of the season tomorrow night as they take on the Vegas Golden Knights for the second and final time of the campaign. Tomorrow’s meet starts at 7 p.m. Eastern Time and tickets are available HERE.
The first 10,000 fans to show up will receive a limited-edition Chris Neil Retro Thursday poster, created by Canadian artist Samantha Woj. For the last two Retro Thursday matches, exclusive posters featuring Daniel Alfredsson and Chris Phillips were offered.
Born with ectrodactyly, a rare genetic disorder, Woj uses hockey equipment like skates, pucks or sticks to hit, roll or slide colors across the canvas. Woj’s method thus fills negative space and creates shapes that come together to create works that are both unique and beautiful.
As part of the Throwback Thursday series, this game will feature old-fashioned prizes including $3 soft-serve ice cream, $5 hot dogs and popcorn and more .
The Golden Knights come to town for the second and final duel between the two teams this season. In the first matchup, on October 25, the Senators lost by a score of 6-4, meaning fans will see a team motivated to win this time.
